Paul Gauguin Screensaver-300 Paintings

Gauguin (1848-1903) experimented boldly with colour, leading directly to the Synthetism style of modern art, in which neither form nor colour predominate but each has an equal role. He paved the way to Primitivism and a return to the Pastoral. He felt traditional painting had become too imitative and lacked symbolic depth. By contrast, the art of Africa and Asia seemed to him full of mystic symbolism and vigour. Moving to Tahiti, he spent the last years of his life celebrating the life of it's inhabitants on his canvas. Like strolling through the world's museums. Why just hang prints? Turn your computer into a virtual picture of masterpieces. You might find yourself noticing your own visual compositions, and seeing details in the everyday world around you in new ways. Beautiful and elegant. (PLEASE NOTE: While all paintings contained in this screensaver are in good taste and considered superb art, some images are of nudes, although none sexually explicit. Your discression is advised). From 'Fine Art Screensavers for the Home and Office LLC'. Free full-version trial download available.
